Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely

We wanted change, so we voted Obama and a Democrat majority congress into office. The lesson learned here is be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.
We got change alright in the form of absolute fiscal irresponsibility. First they give away TRILLIONS of our tax dollars to private businesses in a bailout fraud that may never be matched in history again. If you were deemed "to big to let fail" you got billions but if you are a struggling small to medium sized business you are just the right size to fail! After the raining of money had stopped we heard quiet whispers of where the deficit stands, almost as if it is an afterthought. If what you hear is true then we are in the 12 TRILLION dollar range now. That would mean this administration has spent more money than all that previous administrations combined. Didn't Obama take office this year??? 3+ more years like this and we will be a third world country. The dollar just can't take the stress of that much debt. You want change? We got it.
Now they want to take on health care, O M G now I am scared! Look, the federal government is doing such a bang-up job at everything else I just can't wait for them to start administering health care too! The preliminary estimates I have heard are that this will add an additional 2 trillion dollars to the debt. We need to step back a second and look at the constitution. I can't seem to find anywhere in there that congress has any authority on this or for that matter, a lot of the things they pass legislation. They seem to live outside their scope as outlined in the constitution. If you really want change, just let congress run loose.
Now I seem to remember that Obama was going to get us out of Afghanistan quickly. I heard the news today that he is about to announce that troop size there is going to be doubled? Twice as many lives at stake, twice as much money being spent. Well we got our change there too I guess.
We asked for, and got our change. Is it too late to go back? I am afraid at the rate we are going now, all I am going to have left is, well, change.
